EERco has been participating th the SOHO - European Training Course for EVS Support People, a Training Course that took place in Vaxjo, Sweden in 17-21 October 2017.
SOHO aims at enhancing quality of EVS projects through development of essential competences of support persons. It also provides up-to-date information to its participants on the opportunities given by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme.
The SOHO training course is designed for those who are directly involved in the support system around the EVS volunteer (e.g. mentors and task-related support persons) on the hosting, sending and coordinating side. The support people play a crucial role in providing conditions for a quality voluntary service and creating opportunities for volunteer’s learning in EVS.
Eleni I Kavazidou was the EERco representative. After the current seminar several multiplier
events and EERco meetings followed for passing to the accreditation process.
Representatives of the Greek National Agency, after visiting EERco office expressed their positive interest in supporting EERco activities and guiding us for getting authorisation assumptions.
During 2018 EERco is expected to start EU activities related to EVS and facilitating GR youth participation in EU activistic actions!
