ERAMUS KA152 "AI & ME" project: Presentation of our Youth Team in Romania
We are proud to announce the selection of our Greek participants for the KA1 Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “AI & Me”, taking place in Predeal, Romania, from 31 October to 9 November 2026! 🇬🇷🤖 Congratulations to Nikolaos Mantzouratos, Georgios Rodopoulos, Lefteris Detorakis, Georgios Papoutsas, and Lefteris Kostikidis on this exciting opportunity to explore artificial intelligence, develop digital and critical-thinking skills, exchange ideas with young people from different cultures, and contribute to a more responsible and informed digital future. We look forward to seeing them represent Greece, embrace intercultural learning, and make the most of this Erasmus+ experience!
The ESAI EN ROI superviror accompanying the group is Lev Narozhny, one of the Project Managers of the Association.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
‘‘AI & Me’ Youth Exchange will take place in Predeal, Romania, from 31 October to 9 November 2026 (travel days included), bringing together 40 participants from 5 countries (with each national team consisting of 7 youth + 1 group leader)
Romania
Bulgaria
Greece
Italy
Türkiye
For 8 activity days, participants will explore topics related to artificial intelligence, digital safety, data protection, media literacy and disinformation through non-formal education methods, practical activities, debates, simulations, teamwork and peer-to-peer learning.
They will learn how AI works, how personal data is used, how to recognise digital risks, misinformation and deepfakes and how to use AI tools in a more critical and responsible way. Participants will also create visual and video campaigns, test different AI applications. The project encourages intercultural dialogue, cooperation, inclusion and active participation, helping young people develop digital, critical-thinking and intercultural competences while discovering Erasmus+ opportunities and learning from each other.

I'm genuinely excited about the opportunity to explore Artificial Intelligence, learn new things, meet new people, and grow through this unique Erasmus experience!
Georgios Rodopoulos

I would like to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility in Romania to gain new experiences, meet
people from different cultures, and develop my personal and communication skills. I am eager to learn, exchange ideas, work with other participants, and broaden my horizons. I believe this experience will help me grow both personally and socially while creating meaningful connections. Thank you for considering my application.esa
Lefteris Detorakis

I'm highly motivated to join this project because of 3 main reasons. Firstly, as someone following technological developments, such as the recent rise of autonomous AI-agents, I'm deeply aware of how fast AI is transforming our world. However from my experience, I concluded it is a double-sided coin that can help us improve our effectiveness but also impair our way of analytical thinking. Secondly, I'm really looking forward to c ollaborating with people from other countries, learning how to coexist and work together and broadening my horizons through cultural exchange. Last but not least, I adore mountains and hiking and Predeal is a unique place with such captivating natural beauty that I'd love to witness. After all its an experience that helps you grow and create lifelong memories!
Georgios Papoutsas

My name is Giorgos, and I would be thrilled to participate in "AI&me" as part of the Greek delegation. As an engineering student, I work hands-on with AI and intelligent systems. I am currently building an autonomous wheeled robot using ROS 2, LiDAR, and a depth camera to map rooms with SLAM and create a digital twin of the environment. Through this project and my control systems studies, I have seen both the immense potential of AI and how much depends on the choices made by those who design it. Because technical skill is only part of the equation, this project strongly appeals to me. I am eager to discuss with peers from diverse backgrounds how AI impacts our daily lives, education, and future careers. I also look forward to exploring its ethical dimensions, such as privacy and bias. In return, I offer practical experience with real AI and robotics tools, and I am happy to help explain these concepts to other participants in an accessible way. I thrive in team settings, am fully fluent in English, and am committed to actively participating in all workshops and intercultural activities. Following the exchange, I plan to share my learnings with my local community and fellow students in Greece. Thank you for considering my application. I would be proud to represent Greece in this project.
