Movement as an Expression of the Soul — Scholarship Awarded to Chrysanthi Kaminari for the Artistic Opening of the Inclusive Culture Festival in Chania

With great joy, we announce the awarding of a scholarship by the Organizing Committee of the Artistic Education Actions MOUSON KAINOPRAGIA 2026 to Chrysanthi for her participation in the artistic opening ceremony of the 14th Inclusive Culture Festival in Chania!

For more information about the festival, visit: www.dhias.org

Born in Thessaloniki, Chrysanthi carries within her a deep and meaningful connection to the art of dance. Since the age of three, she has devoted herself to classical ballet (Vaganova method), later expanding her artistic journey through contemporary dance, as well as elements of Latin dance, can-can, and traditional dances.

For her, dance is not simply an activity, but a way of being and expressing herself. Through movement and music, she creates a personal space of freedom, emotion, and creativity. With discipline, perseverance, and inner strength, she has faced moments that confronted her with the fear of losing what she loves most, ultimately realizing that dance is an inseparable part of her life.

Although she describes herself as shy and anxious, she transforms completely on stage. Dance gives her confidence, strength, and the ability to turn every emotion into art.

Alongside her artistic path, she is a first-year student at the School of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a strong interest in people and a genuine desire to help others in the future. She is also involved in music, having studied piano for many years and earned a degree in Harmony, while painting and reading remain two additional forms of expression and personal exploration in her life.

Her participation in the artistic opening of the Inclusive Culture Festival in Chania is expected to become a special moment of sensitivity, inspiration, and creative expression.

We wholeheartedly wish her every success and a beautiful artistic journey filled with experiences, emotion, and new creative encounters.
