Youth for Exchange and Understanding (YEU) Cyprus is pleased to announce the launch of its open call for a 2026–2027 European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering opportunity in Nicosia, Cyprus, supported also by ESAI EN ROI.
The opportunity is open to young people aged 18–30 who are interested in gaining international experience, contributing to their local community and developing their personal and professional skills through non-formal learning.

The volunteering project will last 10–12 months, from September 2026 to September 2027, and will focus on creativity, community engagement, youth empowerment and non-formal education. Volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of activities, including awareness-raising campaigns, creative projects, intercultural activities, community initiatives and the promotion of European opportunities for young people.
As part of the ESC programme, volunteers will receive:
Accommodation and utilities
Travel reimbursement according to ESC rules
€400 per month for pocket money and personal expenses
Insurance coverage
Training and ongoing mentorship
Language support
Youthpass certification
ESAI EN ROI aims to support young people in accessing European opportunities and encourage active participation in the European Solidarity Corps. The current newsletter provides an opportunity for organisations and youth networks to share relevant opportunities with their communities and help motivated young people discover international volunteering experiences.
Young people interested in applying are encouraged to consult the full Info Pack for detailed information about the project and eligibility requirements. The application can also be submitted through the European Youth Portal.
For further information about the opportunity, interested candidates can contact YEU Cyprus at esc@yeucyprus.org.
ESAI EN ROI is happy to support those ESC projects and to contribute to creating more opportunities for young people to participate in European volunteering and intercultural learning experiences.
