Clean Beach Pirates: Presentation of our new Partner

Clean Beach Pirates is a bold, joyful, and purpose-driven eco-social adventure unfolding across the Ionian Sea in Greece. Each summer, we come together aboard a sailboat to reach and restore remote beaches, explore untamed coastlines, and reconnect—with nature and with one another. Through sailing, collective action, and shared creativity, we imagine and co-create alternative futures rooted in care, justice, and play.
We are a non-profit, volunteer-powered collective, driven by collaboration and a shared belief: the world needs more pirates who care.
This project goes beyond clean ups
It is about creating spaces where people reconnect with nature, with each other and with their own ability to create change. Through shared living, collective decision making and hands-on action, participants experience what sustainability actually feels like in practice.
At the same time, Clean Beach Pirates is working to transform this lived experience into something bigger: a structured, shareable approach to sustainability oriented youth work that can be used and adapted by other organisations across Europe.
To make this possible, Clean Beach Pirates is running a crowdfunding campaign on Goteo.
The funds will support essential aspects such as:
*Safety equipment and insurance.
*Materials for beach clean ups.
*Basic maintenance and operational costs.
*Making participation more inclusive and accessible.
