Thess-network and the Select Respect Network with the support of the Anna Lindh Foundation invited ESAI EN ROI -[now on a member of the Network]- to the 1st FORUM - Civil Society & Volunteering SKG 2024. The Forum is under the aegis of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
The 1st FORUM Civil Society and Volunteering SKG 2024 took place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the Thessaloniki City Hall, Manolis Anagnostakis Hall.
With the main theme "Synergies with Local Government", the FORUM invited agencies, civil society organizations, volunteers and the local community to explore together the possibilities and challenges of active political participation and volunteering.
The program included:
Opening Speeches by local government agencies and representatives
Keynote Speeches on the role of volunteering in the local community
Workshops and Panel Discussions on practices and approaches to volunteering
Networking and Round Table Discussions
The aim of this 1st meeting is to strengthen the cooperation between the Civil Society and the Local Government and to highlight good practices of volunteering and social contribution.
We wish this Network to flourish and push+pull changesin benefit of the city!
